Wotcha, peeps!
Just a short update today as I try to keep these updates monthly for you. I'm dying to share with you guys how gorgeous this game is and I was hoping we'd have more to show you but we're still waiting for the Pre-Production Copy from the factory. Production of Gloom of Kilforth, all of its expansions, and all of the wooden tokens and dice from both games is going ahead next week. There was an issue where the Shadows of Kilforth cards were not colour matching with the previous prints of Gloom. We stopped everything to highlight how important it is that they match so that players can shuffle cards from Shadows of Kilforth into Gloom of Kilforth and vice versa. This slowed us down a little but it has now all been sorted out, and the PPC will be here soon. Once the PPC lands I'll share some wicked pics and maybe a vid too and we'll be that step closer towards full production. Our printers are confident we can finish production of everything in December.
In the meantime our previous game Lifeform has been getting brilliant reviews from There Will Be Games:

Hello Wanderers!
I've put off posting this for as long as I could so that I could say...
Final Print Files Submitted!!
The final print files have now been submitted to the manufacturers, so we're waiting for them to carefully assemble our pre-production copy of Shadows of Kilforth and its expansions. Once we receive that copy we'll do a little dance of joy first, and then make any super final tweaks needed, and then we're up and away to printing land. This means we're on track for delivery in Q1 of 2020!
Rulebook!!
The Shadows of Kilforth rulebook is up here - kudos and cool points for anyone who spots any typos or inconsistencies:
For those of you who already know how to play Gloom of Kilforth you shouldn't have to wade through the new rulebook to find all of the new rules. Most of the new gameplay stuff is on the actual cards, but here's a handy summary for you to catch up on the new rules material and jargon so you can just dive right in when your game arrives, basically veteran players can just skim this instead of reading the whole rulebook again - it also includes a load of variant rules and difficulty options and a guide to combining Shadows with Gloom of Kilforth. As always, let me know if you spot any typos! :D

Hey everyone, how's it going?
It's a particularly crazy month here at HoN HQ (otherwise I'd have updated you earlier): our latest gorgeous game Lifeform ( https://lifeform.backerkit.com/hosted_preorders ) is currently landing with backers, we're finalising all of the files for Shadows of Kilforth, plus preparing to launch the Kickstarter for 1565, St Elmo’s Pay - there is simply not enough chaos in our lives right now; so we moved house a few days ago, and I’m flying to GenCon in a few hours too... :D
SoK Progress Report
All of the delicious final art is in, including the extra commissions for the stretch goal stuff. Once again, like Gloom of Kilforth before it, Shadows of Kilforth is going to look utterly outstanding on your gaming tables.
All of the final cards have been sent to our crack team of special forces play-testers for a last round of scrutinising, breaking, spell-checking, and sanity-proofing and the feedback has been brilliant. Even when someone spots a typo it feels like a minor victory because we're tightening that web ever closer to bring the best possible quality we can.
We're sending the approved files (box art, etc.) to the printers and we're over 90% through the check-list of stuff that we need to do before we can begin production in earnest. Ultimately the actual start of manufacturing will depend on the factory's timelines of availability, but we are in regular contact with them so fingers crossed everything should progress smoothly.
GenCon Events!!
I've managed to book two GenCon events, details below, each of which is an excuse for me to say hello and thank you to US backers, sign games, and chat about geek stuff. I requested that there be no charge for either event as it's just a meet and greet but GenCon has slapped a $2 fee on for tickets anyway for use of their table space. It would be great to see some of you at the show if you're going and this just gives us an organised way to do it, but if you do see me at the show anyway be sure to say hello as I will be an English fish out of water in any case!
Two reprinted cards for the misprinted Shopkeeper from Gloom of Kilforth (2nd print run) and the confusingly worded Outcast from the Encounters expansion have been added into Shadows of Kilforth. We'll add a note explaining their existence for any newbies too but wanted to let you know here as well.
Extra Polymorph Spell added to the Adventures expansion
One bonus spell 'Polymorph' has been added to the Spell deck for Shadows of Kilforth because of, well hey, we just love ya. Consider it a secret bonus stretch goal!
