Well met fellow adventurers!

Just checking back in to keep you up to date on our progress in case you happen to be one of those super cool peeps who does NOT sit on our Kickstarter page with a drinking bird toy constantly headbutting the refresh key. Here's where we at:

£83,847 pledged of £10,000 goal 1,505 backers 26 days to go!!

A whopping pace that puts us ahead of so many stretch goals it's hard to keep up! It also showcases your ability to achieve in just a few days what our other campaigns took weeks to do. Absolutely epic stuff, people, it's like riding the crest of a wave or the zenith of a rollercoaster!

Conventions 2019!!

We are dead excited to be attending Airecon in Harrogate this weekend, and we hope to see as many of you there as we can. We will be demoing games, and who knows, maybe even actually selling some copies too! In any case, our favourite part is meeting fellow gamers and talking game stuff so please come and say hello if you happen to be in the area.

We are also now the proud sponsors of UK Games Expo, so we look forward to seeing you there in June too...

And for our American friends, I'll be attending GenCon once again this year. You were all so welcoming and friendly I can't wait to come and hang out with you again.

Media!!

I was recently invited onto the @JTRPodcast for a chat about games and gaming conventions and, amongst other things, Shadows of Kilforth - you can have a listen here:

#BoardChitless

Some of you might not know that we also run our own podcast on YouTube, iTunes and SoundCloud - #BoardChitless - where we talk to fellow Chitheads about the games we've played and we also get to interview industry titans. For example, here's us chatting to Jamey Stegmaier about all things gaming:

Thank you!!

Thank you to all of you for all of your lovely comments and support, and keep those suggestions coming too. You'll notice that one or two of your ideas have taken shape in the form of stretch goals. So what we can do for you within reason, we most certainly will try to. I selfishly want to stuff the game with as many stories (and therefore art, and cards) as possible but if you want card dividers, stitched playmats, and all that kind of cool bling too, just let us know in the comments and we'll see what Santa says. But just you try and stop me from adding in a tonne of cool, new cards along the way too...

We Need You!

If you want to keep unlocking those stretch goals then please take up your arms and assist us in this journey by sharing, tweeting, facebooking, social media-ing, lighting the beacons and sending those carrier pigeons to spread the word about the campaign!  We are still only a small company and so we really do rely on you and word of mouth to entice new backers to try our games.

Welcome back to Kilforth!!
about 5 years ago – Mon, Mar 04, 2019 at 05:48:42 PM

Hello all you beautiful people!!

Welcome back to the gorgeous but deadly land of adventure and epic legends. Welcome to all the lovely people new to our world, and welcome also to all of our veteran players who've carried us along these past years.

£64,287 pledged of £10,000 goal 1,159 backers 29 days to go!

What an opening 24 hours! We absolutely smashed a bunch of our own personal records and milestones and funded in a spectacular 42 minutes. For those who don't already know,  the original Kickstarter for Gloom of Kilforth took 27 days to fund out of 30, and the follow up campaign took 4 hours, so 42 minutes provides a terrific curve for us.

We've unlocked so much stuff already it's going to take me a while to catch up and explain it all to you, but hey, we still have a month of this to go. In any case, I've been known to ramble in our updates so I'm going to keep this one short(ish) and sweet, especially as we have so many of your personal emails, tweets, messages and comments to respond to, so...

THANK YOU.

Thank you so much for letting us continue doing what we love best, there's not a day that goes by where I'm not utterly grateful to be able to indulge my imagination, explore fantastical worlds, and share them with the best community of gamers on earth. Our aim is to make games that make you happy, and you make us so happy to be able to do this.

So from the bottom of my heart: thank you.

Let's get ready for that next stretch goal, blazing like a beacon of light in the gathering gloom.

Take care everyone, and see you in the comments,

Tristan xx
